Rodney Gooden
Rodney Gooden is a BAFTA Member and voice-over specialist who joins Roberts & Day with a strong background as both a performer and an advocate for talent. A graduate of Drama Studio London in 2019, he has built a diverse career across video games, audio drama, documentary narration, commercials and audiobooks, giving him a clear understanding of what both actors and casting teams need.
Rodney became a full-time voice artist during the COVID-19 pandemic, using the paycheque from his first major commercial booking to build a home studio and spending lockdown honing his craft.
His work now includes titles such as Dragon Age: The Veilguard (BioWare), Total War: Warhammer III (Creative Assembly), Inua: a Story In Ice and Time (Arte France), and Anno 1800 (Ubisoft), alongside narration for National Geographic, BBC Panorama, and Audible Originals, including Impact Winter and Doctor Who for Big Finish, as well as commercial campaigns for Mercedes, Jeep, Sure and Durex.
Joining Roberts & Day, Rodney is driven by a passion for giving back to the community that shaped him. He believes the industry thrives when people share their knowledge, support and expertise, just as others did for him when he was starting out. Storytelling is his life’s central passion, and he’s committed to helping more people experience its joy, whether as artists or audiences.
With strong connections across the industry, he aims to build a roster that reflects the skill, diversity and creativity of the modern voice-over landscape, supporting performers from all backgrounds with honesty, care and a personal actor-focused approach.
Rodney is the Voice Over Agent at Roberts & Day, responsible for building and leading the agency’s growing VO division. For representation enquiries and all things voiceover.
